TOS were approved as a service provider to Shell Australia and were contracted to undertake a comprehensive in water assessment of all marine assets pertaining to the QCLNG facility at Curtis Island Gladstone. The program was completed under budget and within the nominated timeframe. All operations were conducted in accordance with IMCA guidelines.

Shell/QGC Wondoan Dam Pump Inspection

TOS Provided a full IMPCA Compliant spread to Shell in South West QLD to undertake the installation of a faulty pump rail at their Woleebee Creek Waste Water Treatment Plant, which enables extracted water to be treated and returned to the environment.

Newcrest Mining Marine Support

Newcrest Mining Marine Support

TOS were engaged to provide Marine Support for a drilling campaign in PNG for Newcrest mining. TOS provided its 12m Utility Vessel Jetstar and 2 x 4 m Tenders. These were used to tow the jack up from hole to hole and provide safe crew transfers on and off the Jack up.

Queensland Sugar Repairs

TOS was engaged by Queensland Sugar Limited to undertake welding repairs to their Northern Mooring Dolphin. A large number of engineered patches were manufactured and installed over a 4 week period. The patches improved structural integrity of the structure while minimising the impact of corrosion.

Mornington Island Blockage Removal

Mornington Island Blockage Removal

Mornington Island shire required a dive team to locate a blockage in their sewage treatment outfall pipeline. TOS mobilised a dive spread onto the Carpentaria Freight barge and team flew to site. A vessel was provided by the Shire and the team were able to successfully locate the blockage and get the pipe flowing again.

Raptis Fisheries Karumba Wharf Rejuvenation

Stage one of Raptis Fisheries Karumba Wharf rejuvenation commenced in early august. 59 piles required strengthening with Denso Fibre firm jackets that are grout filled once installed. ID headstocks were replaced, concrete loading deck was strengthened and all decking timbers were replaced. Stage 2 is set to commence on 1st August 2018.

AFMA Caretaking Contracts

AFMA Caretaking Contracts

TOS were awarded the Caretaking contracts to look after 2 illegal Fishing Vessels apprehended by Australian Fisheries Management Authority - Border Forces and handed over to TOS in the outer anchorage of Gladstone. Once the vessels had been cleared of vermin and all food waste has been removed, they were brought into the inner anchorage while clearance was prepared for handover and demolition. Duration 2 weeks.

Cape Flattery Silica Mine Jetty

TOS were awarded a contract to apply Denso Seashield Jackets to Cape Flattery Silica Mine Jetty. The use of a Crocodile Cage was required due to the inquisitive resident 4m Crocodile. Testing weather conditions, shipping movements and use of cage made for a challenging but successful installation program.

Newcrest Mines IPS Cofferdam

TOS were awarded a dredging contract to extract 380,000 cubes of built up silt from the Newcrest mines IPS Cofferdam in Papua New Guinea. This was completed on time and on budget without incident.

Neptune Marine Services Survey Program

Neptune Marine Services Survey Program

Taylored Offshore Services completed an 8 month survey program to Neptune Marine Services. Survey operations were conducted from Oil Services Kumul Terminal in the Gulf of Papua and extended some 30 nm inland up the Kikuri River Delta to Kopi Base.
